Sgt. Heather Taylor is a homicide detective with the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. She is also the President of the Ethical Society of Police, a primarily black police union in St. Louis that is on the forefront of demanding accountability in the profession. In this special town hall event that was also streamed by local news, we talk about police reform in the wake of more violence.

Dr. Gena McClendon is the Center for Social Development Director of Voter Access and Engagement, Financial Capability, and Asset Building Initiatives. Jennifer Slavik Lohman is an attorney and organizer with the St. Louis Area Voter Protection Coalition. Together, they have been fighting to protect Missourians' right to vote. We discussed changes in Missouri's laws, absentee voting during the Coronavirus, and answer questions.

Christian Menefee is the young, progressive Democratic Nominee for Harris County Attorney, with the major population center being Houston, Texas. He defeated a longtime incumbent for the nomination, focusing on justice reform and public advocacy. Christian and I attended Washington University School of Law together. We talked about what it means to be an attorney for the People, running underdog campaigns, and fighting for an America that works for all of us.

Matt Sydal loved wrestling and, as the middle child, he had multiple weight classes at home to compete in. At a young age, he began training to become a professional wrestler in St. Louis. He attended Mizzou while traveling the country, and he eventually realized his dream in the WWE, wrestling as Evan Bourne. He has won multiple championships and, today, he lives in Florida and teaches the next generation of wrestlers. He's also very engaged politically. I talk with Matt about his path and his political involvement.
